How to access your Purchase on Itch.Io

A Guide by Itch.io

After every purchase, two things happen:

You're immediately sent an email from support@itch.io confirming your transaction.

This email contains a link to your purchase page.

Your browser will redirect to your purchase page, which includes all downloads.

If you can’t find your purchase, first check your inbox. Verify that your spam detector didn’t hide it, or you didn’t archive it by accident.

If you need any further help, please don't hesitate to comment again or use the link above to contact Itch.io Support.

I still have the purchase link in my email.

But as you can see in the screenshot, only the public version and soundtrack are displayed for download. But the Fluffy Edition is gone.

I still have the previous version 0.45, Fluffy Edition, on my PC.

I understand. That is very weird, but it's from itch's side unfortunately. I would recommend to contact the Itch.io Support or maybe if that helps to download the Itch app for Windows / Mac, where the app will update the game automatically similar to Steam.

I just tried the app, but unfortunately, it only lets me download/install the public version.

I've also now submitted a ticket to Itch.io support.

I think it's an error on Itch.io's part.

Because I noticed that I bought the game for 6.00€ back then for the Fluffy Edition v0.35.

If I bought the game again, only this time for 6.99€, would the Fluffy Edition be unlocked again? (As you can see in the screenshot, since it's not grayed out)

It's annoying that this price change is now locking me out of the Fluffy Edition.

I don't think you intended for people to have to rebuy the game after certain updates, right?

No I did not intend for that. Everyone who buys the game now, should not have to buy it again. Buying it now in early access is a sign of trust towards me and is rewarded by paying less then the end price for the finished product will be.
