I'm gonna be honest, after following all the drama for a while and looking at old posts, I'm beginning to have doubts? Lose hope? I guess "become disinterested in the game" is the right phrase here. It's cool you're trying to make some more nuanced/niche/unique characters, but uhh... That's gonna require some GOD-TIER writing. So good luck with that. Hope you can pull it off without somehow making it worse.
Also just wanna point out that Chika, kinda fits in with the whole "rescue girl" trope... Emphasis on "kinda" since that trope usually refers to homeless women/women with trauma and Chika is a step away from being homeless, there's currently not enough info to determine any trauma, and then there's.... "The Drama."
I also feel like you should find a way to write Yuka and Eri as main LI's... I mean MBML managed to find a way with some of the characters in it, so it is possible. Obviously they won't/probably won't be involved in all the criminal gang violence, but they could be emotional support for the MC or some shit? Idk, it just feels a bit cheap having them in that opening scene that basically foreshadows the MC's harem only to then announce they're no longer main LI's.
Anyways, I'm just gonna sit in the back and wait for 0.4, or whatever update continues Chika's story, before announcing my final verdict. So uhh, excuse me while I go do other things for a while... And I guess I'll be back at some point to play the update? Whenever it comes out. I don't really know what to say at the end here... So uhh... Good... Good luck... I guess? Try not to make it worse?
