If you hit E outside the ship it swaps control over to the ship so you can fly back to the player. I am definitely going to make this more clear in the future so I can work this mechanic into the puzzles better.
Ohhh I thought I was missing something, that's what I get for being bad at reading instructions. I was thinking that I'm just really bad at puzzles 😊
