This is Fabulous -- really enjoyed the read. Especially intrigued with the plot as I feel you (1) don't get to play a demon often (and you're not evil); (2) the 'Oracle' background is mysterious as it is interesting; (C) fighting a slow insanity? Say less~
You have to have a really compelling MC; the balance between who they already are with the story you've crafted/their past + who we make them into as we play. And you nailed it: I really love that my poor baby bop has some serious trauma with being abandoned and just - phony peeps using her. That going into the romance: my MC isn't easy and is suspicious of everyone's motivations (like, 'why would you love me, you dirty Liar'). You can see them catching feelings in routes, but it's very - - Careful. And I appreciate that. You can tell LIs realize it too, in their own way. That they're gonna have to work for it.
Speaking of (!): My favs are Vezriel (we love a Queen~) and Azaria -- which is funny b/c they feel like opposite ends of the spectrum, but they have similars as well. I love how protective Vez is and that - - (subdued/royal)humor. And her little bolds. When she suddenly wanted to spar, it was one of my fav bits - I was shocked - and it was hot? I don't know: Vez unexpected does things to me. lol And I love how Azaria comes across as this play-girl who really won't care about MC -- but the route was really deep (rings!!)! Her spontaneity and how she's somehow - honest, but still hides herself is delicious. (Also: music hotties will get me every time.) And I beamed with moment she caries MC and then -- suddenly breaks out running -- the GOOBER. Feel like my Damaged(TM) baby *needs* that.
