Going further into the horror elements would have definitely been an interesting way to take it! Ultimately I'd probably prefer to focus purely on horror if I was to go that route.
Horror themed H, while on the raise is still pretty niche. But games like this that are not really horror but have a horror-ish vibe are incredibly rare.
