  1. Endurance as a stat is now practicaly useless unless you use magic. This will give it some use and will make longer expeditions more tense, since you will have to prepare a little more.
  2. You start with 15 endurance and you gain one pretty much every week, unless your wellness is really low. It is easier to gain endurance than health.
  3. Yes, attack right now takes 1 endurance point, no matter the weapon.

This is just a first iteration of this system. I will develop it further depending on feedback. There are many options I can go with to make it more interesting / deep. I can:

  • Make light weapons take less endurance than heavy weapons
  • Make it affect accuracy for ranged weapons and damage for melee weapons
  • Make the damage / accuracy decrease percentage based, so it gets lower gradualy as you get more tired
  • Very heavy weapons that you don't have enough strength to use will take much more endurance and be less accurate instead of just telling you you can't equip them

I will also have to think of a way to not make this entire thing a chore. My idea is to give you endurance restoration items you can buy or make (these are already in the game), a free way to restore endurance at certain spots (that's what the campfires are doing right now), and I will probably give the player some emergency way to restore endurance or health atleast once a week. Something a like a hip flask of water you can use once and it refills for free every week.

As for some campfires not working, there will be quite a few of them and I will be fixing these for sure.
