Thanks. I was worried the wall of text would be an issue as I didn’t have enough time to make a proper tutorial for the game. I’m glad you took the time.

FYI, the ratios are not recipes just clues to what the colour mixtures would be, in no particular order, part of the mechanic. Any tips on how I could convey that better for next time?

Oh, I thought they were recipes. How were they clues though? Like what do the numbers mean?

That you will need that specific number of colour dots for a specific of that colour. For example say you have a ratio 3:1:2:1, means one colour will have 3 dots, two will have 1 dot, and the last will have 2 dots. It doesn’t tell you exactly which of those colours it will be. That’s why I’m not calling it a recipe but rather a clue.

I see. The clues as they are right now is a bit misleading; I thought you had to exactly line them up. Do you have any ideas for that?

Good Point, maybe if I do a polishing pass in the future, I will have to improve how this is explained or displayed. My concern with lining it up is that it would make the puzzling aspect way too easy.

That is fair. Well, maybe you could just add a small note in the book that states the ratios aren't accurate 1:1? As a placeholder for now, anyway.

Wait… We can modify the game after it has been submitted?

Oh, I somehow missed it on the rules. Let me make an improved version of this for other players as well. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

As long as you keep the original submission as a downloadable, that is fine from what I've read on the rules. Go for it!
