I really like this idea, would love to see this taken further with more elements, and maybe some more complex interactions (e.g. certain insects are bad for the plant but attract predators that allow for automatic insect regulation, etc.). For now it feels a bit too easy to find the optimal strategy for each level, but it could definitely become something

The idea about automatic insect regulation through predators is very interesting! I am agree that increasing the complexity would make the experience more challenging and engaging.
