I'm guessing that you used a save file from over days ago at least. Is that correct?

Ah ok, yeah I saved using the previous version. It was almost the end, so couldn't travel anywhere to fix it. But no worries.

Can't wait for part 2!

Ah yes I now know how advance you were (referring to coming back from the l********* ;). Sorry about that! But we found it a good opportunity to make some improvements before the Steam launch (coming in five days). Thank you for understanding. I hope you enjoyed it and we will do our best to finish part 2 the soonest. Don't forget to rate us on itch and remember that we will soon be providing you with Steam keys on request!
