I'll be honest, it's suprise me how this game got no hate while 'no mercy' game gets ton of hate... When literally they'll both are same concept except this one more g0re than other one.. and this one is 2d while other one is 3d. Still no hate? Lol.

my thoughts
1. the NM game was 3D and kinda realistic so it may trigger people more?
2. NM was about raping women while in this game, the player IS the victim
3. most obvi reason, NM is more popular than this one, esp on tiktok so people would get there hands on it more easily. w1wd's audience on the other hand is mainly from the author's followers on twitter who are all familiar with the author's extreme contents.
4. w1wd has a more "explicit warning"? and the author also said she does not condone any of this irl, while the NM's dev only state this AFTER the game being removed and made popular to the mainstream players.
5. (just my personal opinion) daniel is kinda handsome and.. hot? and the players are mostly women too, they are more likely to overlook his actions (this happens irl as well)
last word, i believe if it is fiction and do not harm or involve any real person illegaly, it shouldnt be censored or taken down.
This is a wild take. Unless I am mistaken No mercy glorified rape and incest. The core gameplay was to "discipline" your female relative and actively force her into sexual interactions. It was a rape/incest simulator. WhatIWouldn'tDo is dark horror literature at best and it warns readers of the extreme dark themes that occur. Can this be fetishized? Of course, a lot of things are and will be fetishized by some readers, but you cannot compare the two because this creator isn't exploiting sex and basically glorifying rape for the hell of it like No Mercy did.
This might be torture porn for some, or a way for some SA victims to cope, I won't deny that, but at least this creator isn't trying to make a profit for it like the incestual rape fantasy No Mercy was trying to sell.
OK i'm going to have to STRONGLY disagree with you on this one...
Hear me out.
There IS a difference between these two games — The points of view. In the game "mercy" YOU were the rapist. In this game, you're the victim. And I think that this difference does matter a lot tbh..
You liking someone to do that to you is different from you wanting to rape someone... Something like that. Besides, the audience is also different. Mercy was a game that, in addition to being extremely realistic, supported rape / the creators said they didn't understand what the problem with the game was, the audience was clearly men who would definitely grape someone irl, and a game that in the society we live in, supports misogyny and the objectification of women. It's a much deeper subject than that.
While THIS game is more of a... Something for people with weird fetishes? Like masochism. And besides being unrealistic, I highly doubt that the audience for this game would want to go through this irl. (probably just a grape roleplay or something like that)
Sooooooo yeah . there is a lot of difference, and the impact on society of these two games.
