wow. hate is a strong word for a game that is beloved by milions. by a great guy that makes it and uploads it so we can play it completely for free. and it's not a rippoff of ready player one lmao. it's nothing like it. just because there are elements that are similiar doesn't make it a rippoff. and just because a dev doesn't immediately respond to you on a site he's barely ever on doesn't make him a bad guy. i've spoken to him many times on his preferred channels. and disagreed with him and he took everything me and others said into account. seems like a silly hate. if you dislike it just say that. but hate him? cmon man your 50. grow up

I personally think your hate it’s too biased to make or produce any helpful feedback but I will give it a try. 

1. I don’t know what were your thoughts on Eternum or what feedbacks you Personally send to the creator but just by reading your other comments here I can say that you probably should have more tact.

2. Hating the entire game just because the creator didn’t bother to accept your constructive criticism or even respond to it makes you appear like the bad guy not the creator itself. It’s really not worth it you know ?

3. Many people like to download games on itch.io. I don’t really find any sense in your problem with that.  The author may or may not be present on the site so what ? That’s how most people will think when reading your comment about him not being ever present in here. The truth it’s that many people came to download the game and play it you know ? Not to have a nice a constructive chat with the author about his work.

4. I am also sure you know that in today’s world nothing can truly be called original right ? Let’s put as an example movies. Whatever idea you can come up with to make one it’s probably already generic and overused. That’s also one of the main reasons for why I think most  movies  these days are boring and repetitive. It appears that most directors are not even trying anymore to be honest but let’s get back to business.

The creator may have pick up some core ideas of “Ready player one” in order to make the game  but that’s as far as it goes. I am not even entirely sure you can call it plagiarism. And here we come again with the biased hate but lets respond to it anyway,If this just were a rip off of the movie just like you said you really think the game would be so popular ? 

That shit even has an entire subreddit to talk about it !!! “People are idiots” “ They do stupid shit all the time” again please have more tact would you ? You are one of those people and I am pretty sure you have taken stupid or bad decisions in your life, no one is shaming you for that I think. Just because you believe in something and most people not doesn’t make them stupid or any less smart than you.

It just makes you part of a minority of people with similar ideas against a great majority of people with ideas that don’t align with those of your group .

Not trying to start a fight just telling you what I think. 

I worked in SE Asia for a few years working on food safety and food security projects. I started helping some of the students that I encountered during my work and it kind of kept up after retirement. Then picked up some students from other countries. I really work on soft skills, English communication, some critical thinking (which is not emphasized in Asia as a whole), helping through under graduate school with how to study, multi-task etc. Its been fun working with the young adults and keeps me sharp. Hope that gives you and idea.
