Microsoft has a free tool called Microsoft Safety scanner that should help with scanning your PC for threats. I hope this helps and your PC and data are safe.

As the creator of this game, i know this file is safe. But i can't make my products available for download, if they get blocked by Microsoft. This game took a lot of time, and i hate that people can't play it, because of windows defender. I'm working on a solution right now

Cheers! I hope you can resolve the issue, and I'll be happy to try and download again once you're ready. The C++ for the project in GitHub looks really clean and what I saw looked like a really great example of how to use OpenGL for developing games like this. Please reply when you have a new version. <3

Unfortunately, I couldn't resolve the issue, as the only option is to buy a certificate for 60 usd/month, which isn't worth it for me. You can still compile the game yourself, from the source files located on GitHub.
