Oh, no. That's a shame. I was really looking forward to trying out the game. I'm interested in the Gold Edition first and then move to the second one, if the gameplay is at all for me. But it looks very tempting for obvious reasons. XD

But are you not able to influence that in some way, that the credit card option is also usable on Itch?
