Game is not saving and timer doesn't exist, next chat is always unlocked
Could it be that you just didn't progress far enough? The timer is coming after the thrid session. So it's quite a bit of playtime until the game is saved and the timer to come back tomorrow starts.
That's definitely it, was expecting it from the beginning since "days" passed
