3 chapters in. Time for a quick review (will update when more chapters are avail):

First off, phenomenal work once more. I loved the change you guys made with the mouth animations. More motions instead of the singular motion from EfV. Great choice there, it adds more life to the characters.

This new cast will take some getting used to, but I like the plot so far; at least what I can garner as the plot. Ian is the son of a spy, who doesn't tell him everything. He tried to make friends, but once they knew who he was, they stopped being real friends, and became scared of him. Everyone treated him differently, and it messed with his perceptions. He just wants friends who don't care about who his family is, don't fear him or his name, and respect him for who HE is, which is where Ruke comes in.

I suspect Ruke has known Ian for a while, by the way they talk to each other. Ruke makes sure that Ian knows he doesn't care, he likes Ian.

I am sending a turmoil if emotions inside Ian when it comes to Zatch. He wants to like the Todd, but ...doesn't know how to deliver the words to the fox.

Thrax is an ass. Agree, but, I sense something underneath that hard exterior from the dragon. I think he secretly has feelings for Ian, but won't express them.

All in all, you guys are once again crushing it. Another stellar creation in just 3 chapters. The cliffhangers are perfectly placed and timed, set in locations that absolutely leave you wanting more.

I wholly recommend this, even if you haven't read EfV. You might be a little confused, readers, if you haven't read Echos of Valeth, but it's not so strictly a sequel to that one, that you are required to read it
