since i havent solved the puzzle i have no way of knowing if the solution is too clever for me or just too obtuse, but i spent my entire childhood playing every room escape i could find and this has me stuck. the #1 star suggests the star is first and the cat suggests the eye is 4th but following that pattern nothing else seems to make sense as theres 6 fish, many mushrooms, and leaves all over. after trying every rule i can think of ive had no luck so it seems like the player is expected to follow different rules to place each symbol. if thats the case im sorry but your solution is too arbitrary for me to guess
