This is literally like the third thing that’s supposed to happen in the game, you arrive in the village and have sex, go to the chapel and kill a ghoul, then go back to the village and fight off the bandits, then get the ability to freely explore. If you are able to explore the village and haven’t seen the bandits, something bugged out. If you don’t want to start over, you might be to fix this by
- going to the chapel
- turning on the game console in the settings
- open the console with grave/tilde (~) key
- type:
Quest.nextStage("black1", 3)and hit enter - try to go to the village again
However, unless you’ve been grinding sex encounters, you’re so early in the game and I can’t guarantee this bug won’t effect other elements of the game and I recommend just starting over. You can hold space to quickly skip through scenes.
