If you look in the spear combat zip, you'll find a folder called "guides". There are images there that show you which pages and frames are used for the in-combat idle and move (it's kind of a slow shuffle). If you want your character to hold the spear outside of combat for things like running and jumping, you'll need to use the alternate sheets for page 1: the sheet called "char_a_p1B". You can find those files in the "optional files (unsupported)" folder. But as you might have guessed, I do not support these alternates, so if you want to use them, you'll need to take it from here on your own. Good luck!
