So I'll be honest here there's already a lot of tension with some of the buildup in this game and while I understand the idea of consequences I also feel like this is a bad move, at least right now because as I'm sure most people can agree they would rather see the completion of the "normal" story and want to feel like the "hero". I would recommend that the bad endings be made as a poll to gauge the player interest and then from there you could decide to greenlight it or not.
Then the dev should remove all player input instead. Make all choices for the player and be done with it. Lets be real, the MCs in all these games are pretty much worthless weak losers who would never be able to get a girl or change anything anyway. So reaiistically, this game's story SHOULD have bad endings instead of good ones because the MC doesnt have any real power. He would nevr be able to help anyone or save anyone. Thats not how it works in real life. So im 100% for bad endings. Much more realistic IMO.
I agree with you honestly but the MC in this case literally does have a power. He went back in time or had a reset and with that he has the power of foresight to be able to prevent or outright change history. That as a power alone is already incredible but it's not omnipotent as it's one flaw is once you change something you're effectively in unknown territory but that doesn't mean you couldn't still plan or prepare for things. Also the concept that not having any real strength being solely attributed to physicals prowess (as I think you mean, if I'm wrong I'm wrong) is just kinda a weak argument.
