Oh! Thanks for your time and the comment 🤗...

In sweet dreams, I also thought about using other instruments, but I came to the conclusion that I shouldn't. The reason was that I was thinking of an intimate melody from the parents to the girl/boy, and I wanted to represent this with a single instrument.

flee? I was actually already falling asleep, and when I woke up, I did the first thing that came to mind 🤣🤣... I don't think I told you this, but my idea was three stages in this track. I was thinking about how to implement it in middleware. The first, the atmosphere, was when we press to start the game and make our first move. After we make our first move, the loop begins (when I was doing it, it also reminded me of Celeste, but I was already working on this idea and didn't have time to rewind). And the guitar part is when you start to emerge and they come chasing you. Thanks for your comment on the mix. Honestly, I'm always unsure about this area, and when I read these comments, I see I'm on the right track.

In wake up, I was originally thinking of it for a flute or an instrument more comfortable in that register, but I changed it to the clarinet for this reason, since you can't be comfortable fighting for freedom ✊. I didn't plan on doing it for the bass; I had the guitar and the harp, but it wasn't noticeable, and that's why the need arose to include another instrument, the bass. Yes, the loop cut is very noticeable in the bass; I had to give it a break at that moment 🙄, I'll keep that in mind for the next one 🤙. How nice to read that you liked the guitar. Regarding the pattern, I wanted to create a conflict between the guitar and the clarinet. To achieve that, the only thing I could think of was to use different subdivisions for each instrument. On the clarinet, I only use eighth notes, quarter notes, and a few half notes here and there, but on the guitar, I use eighth note triplets, quarter notes, and half notes.

Thanks for your comment, it's appreciated from the heart.

Best regards

🤙
