Sweet Dreams is a very nice piece. It fits well as a title screen. One thing in particular that I liked is how the melody played the same motif at different places within the measures, specifically right at the start. The melody and arpeggios also fit together really well. There are a few places where I personally would change the arpeggio to use a different note. I also think that having an additional instrument (I would choose violin or cello) playing on each of the emphasized notes on the arpeggios would help listeners to feel the beat more.

Flee? reminded me a lot of Forsaken City from Celeste. I personally would cut the first 10 seconds off of this song, to get to the music sooner, but I also don't fully see what you were going for; perhaps, if the game was made, those 10 seconds would be very beneficial for atmosphere. My only real complaint is that the song ends very quickly once it gets going. Your mixing work on this one is impeccable, and the parts work together very well.

In Wake Up, the soundfont you are using for the clarinet does not work well with the high notes. A flute would probably have worked better. I really like how it sounds starting at 42 seconds in, when the bass comes in. What I would have recommended is that you replace the clarinet with a flute from the start until 42 seconds, and then have the clarinet play until the loop, with some modifications to it's melody to keep it from going quite so high. The bass cutting out at the loop feels pretty abrupt. The guitar part is very well done. I really like how it the guitar plays in 8|4 at the start, in a 3 beat - 2 beat - 3 beat pattern. The clarinet part could have been written to fit that pattern better.

Oh! Thanks for your time and the comment 🤗...

In sweet dreams, I also thought about using other instruments, but I came to the conclusion that I shouldn't. The reason was that I was thinking of an intimate melody from the parents to the girl/boy, and I wanted to represent this with a single instrument.

flee? I was actually already falling asleep, and when I woke up, I did the first thing that came to mind 🤣🤣... I don't think I told you this, but my idea was three stages in this track. I was thinking about how to implement it in middleware. The first, the atmosphere, was when we press to start the game and make our first move. After we make our first move, the loop begins (when I was doing it, it also reminded me of Celeste, but I was already working on this idea and didn't have time to rewind). And the guitar part is when you start to emerge and they come chasing you. Thanks for your comment on the mix. Honestly, I'm always unsure about this area, and when I read these comments, I see I'm on the right track.

In wake up, I was originally thinking of it for a flute or an instrument more comfortable in that register, but I changed it to the clarinet for this reason, since you can't be comfortable fighting for freedom ✊. I didn't plan on doing it for the bass; I had the guitar and the harp, but it wasn't noticeable, and that's why the need arose to include another instrument, the bass. Yes, the loop cut is very noticeable in the bass; I had to give it a break at that moment 🙄, I'll keep that in mind for the next one 🤙. How nice to read that you liked the guitar. Regarding the pattern, I wanted to create a conflict between the guitar and the clarinet. To achieve that, the only thing I could think of was to use different subdivisions for each instrument. On the clarinet, I only use eighth notes, quarter notes, and a few half notes here and there, but on the guitar, I use eighth note triplets, quarter notes, and half notes.

Thanks for your comment, it's appreciated from the heart.

Best regards

🤙
