I seriously doubt this version launches on steam deck either given that the error is showing a missing c redistributable. Saying it runs on Linux and they telling people to go run it in proton is inherently dishonest and a tactic that I cannot tolerate. Either you shipped a native binary or you didn't.

People will try it on proton if you just mark it windows  thats why it exists.

Well it runs on Steamdeck and pretty well actually and not just for me.

But yeah you are right on that, instead I should have noted it while not specifying Itch.io to mark it as Linux, I thought it was meaning compatible with and not native. In fact when I used butler I could choose which channel to publish to. And a channel is made specifically for Linux native build. Meaning I could have a windows build marked compatible with Linux. But it's confusing... I am completely new to itch and well making games in general I am far from being a dev in the first place.

I tested and worked on a native build, turns out with fmod, some third party plugins etc, I have compatibility errors. I am actively working on replacements to make a native build. The one I have is working but sound is broken.

Thank you for spending the time to write your second message, I can understand that "it's a tactic you don't tolerate" but it was a guenine mistake when I was excited I could play this on deck.
