why's the game impossible? my gobbos are ridiculously slow even when upgraded, i can never win a race and everyone hates all foods, so if i try feeding them, they just fucking lose all their stats and i have to start over.

I'm going to ask if all the issues you've had are that the game is not in the base resolution? Mind you that it is on me that I didn't limit it to only have the base resolution, but some of the script is reliant on the location of objects which is linked to the size of the screen so the game should be played at its default.

I also ask this because I can't repeat any of the issues you've had....

in terms of the comment that I'm replying to specifically, yeah that's just bad luck and I don't mean that in a bad way I just mean some gobos are born bad, you might get a stinker you gotta tough it out or ignore and try to raise another.

yeah i noticed that after retrying some times, but yeah, it's just a scaling issue. it all goes away if you just use the base resolution, i have no idea how to fix that though so i can't help you. but i imagine it's not really that hard.

i eventually got a gobbo and i managed to have a good run. it would be better if you could see those stats more clearly because i thought i just had to train them harder and that led to some frustration.

the new download locks the resolution at the base and you should be able to have your saves transfer to it, HOWEVER to be safe you can get them out of the Gobo Gamba Guild Data folder (save_0/save_1/save_2) put them somewhere safe  download and save over the game files, and then put your saves back in before relaunching.
