A fun and surprisingly enjoyable game! I wouldn't mind paying for a full release. Keep doing what you are doing, you are on the right track!
Minor complaints: It took a while before I realized that whips also count as melee weapons. Not sure if that's just me, though. Also, the thieves have daggers in their boots that do NOT count as melee weapons, which was especially confusing since the game emphasized looking for even small blades.
Thank you! And thank you for the extra “right on track”. People easily and quickly point out the things they want changed, but smushing all the enjoyment into just “I liked it!” (though appreciated!) makes one wonder if you’re hitting just above average, or if they really think things are all ideal.
I think I’m going to expand Skee’s initial dialogue to mention whips.
And I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE BOOT DAGGER! I’ll actually need to remove those XD
