All he does is monetize remake demos of IP's he does not own. Granted he's fucking talented, but using it very incorrectly. If these were free it would be a great way to build a following to eventually release a monetized original game, but charging money for these is literally theft.

Exactly, all his talent could go to make a solid original IP. I've played his several other movie tie in fan games and the environment is good but as you also said its not really viable because he doesnt even release them as full game. All these builds have just one or two levels maximum and they all play like prototypes builds not even demo builds. I guess he's got the shortcut to farming money
Yeah, his works are definitely tech demos more than anything. Nothing wrong with that on its own though, as this method is used by studios who pitch proof-of-concepts to publishers, its simply the MANDATORY payment for access that makes him a shitty dev. "Pay what you want" donations would still be questionable but that would be far more acceptable. Honestly I couldve done the same monetizing shit with my fan work (to then do MORE fan work since I'm getting paid) but specifically chose not to for one simple reason: its fucking wrong. I don't own the IPs.
