I think I know the problem maybe not sure but since my pc got jolted and I'm having to wait on a family member to not be sick or busy to get it repaired I've been using joiplay to play most of my pc games I loved playing your game included on my phone just a hunch but despite the game working that might be the issue
If however that isn't the issue I don't mind sharing my file with you to let you see if you find the issue I'm on a new save since I can't get my files off my pc tho so yeah
Also I hopped on when I went silent and got some dialogue from my character idk if this helps but hey my character basically said that even with werewolf form and glow stones she still can't see anything and went on to say that both the glow stones and her werewolf transformation allow her to see better
If you plaing on a emulator it is very possible that visual bugs may happen or things not workking. I never used that emulator so I don't know.
Easist thing definitely would be to look at your save file to rule out if it is the emulator or a actual bug.
Feel free to send upload the save somewhere and send me a link so I can download it, when I can take a look at it. Google Drive, etc. And sorry to hear that happened to your pc.
I'm just ignoring the quest for rn the rest of the game works fine and despite that small hiccup I'm still very much enjoying the game.

I see, sorry that I could not help much more. If someone else also reports this problem I will be able to look further into it. Also if yu ever want to share your save file I also will be able to take a look and help figuring the problem out. And great to hear you having with with the game : )
You will be missing the Spider (Arachne) tf and without it won't be able to explore most of the small caves. Inside them are mainly equipment items, so nothing needed to complete the game as far as I remember.
found out what my issue was ended up doing s little bit of cheating to do so but hey I fixed my problem so apparently if you're playing it on joiplay you have to press f9 to bring up the system/games data and modify it as there's a setting that joiplay apparently thinks is supposed to be active the entire time if you're in a cave the setting needing modified in question is called *ETERNAL DARKNESS* and with it active if you load up a place that's dark say mines,cave,ect. You wont be able to see anything I found that joiplay has it by default showing as set off but its active I had to activate it load into a part of the map (for me that was the blacksmith) turn it off and load out of that part of the map after the game registers it properly at least for the time I'm not sure if you have to repeat the process every time you load but I fixed my problem so idc I guess lol
also side note I absolutely love the game I beat it last night and enjoyed it so badly I ended up starting a lunatic difficulty run
maybe could also be my phone as I didn't think about that might be a combination but that's ok I was able to enjoy your game and that was what matters to me keep up the good work but remember to take time for yourself as well dont make yourself stressed depressed or burnt out
