Songs of despair and grief from broken souls - This has been on my heart to create for so long - but I never found the right outlet/ format for it. I think this one only works because it's so open ended. Our sorrow songs (mine, yours, each individual's) are so unique, so personal, to trap them in a universal form is to deny the lived experience of them and force them through a lens which may jar or distort their truth. I tried instead to give them wind beneath the wings here - so each player can choose the best and most intuitive expression.
