Interesting experience. I thought I was soft-locked with the lumberjack tree part, then after what felt like too long, you told me what to do. Then got the "L" but have no clue what to do with it.(While writing this, after what must've been 5+ minutes, you said take the gear.) Made the key and finished the game. Was pretty fun and different.
