Cool game!
- I like the background and the laser effect.
- The color design is so good aaaaaa! I can see why people say they want to eat artstyles now!
- I like how unpredictable the enemies are
Here's what I think it's missing...
- I feel like Cubey should be highlighted at the start of the round, or maybe even be a color other than blue for the entire round, to help you reorient after closing the upgrade screen
- Small enemies should have their eyes further apart
- New perk that allows lasers to sometimes go in 8 directions instead of 4
- New perk that allows Cubey to switch directions by pressing WASD keys
- Make it more clear what cracked blocks and empty tiles do
- New perk that makes chain reactions do more damage
- Bossfights.
- An optional challenge where, if you get a specific perk, the upgrade screen won't be shown for 3 rounds, and then after that you get to unlock 3 perks at once
- Allow the player to ditch their oldest 10 perks for some kind of bonus
- Save and quit???
