try accessing the save game ( C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\ShopSim\Saved\SaveGames ) and deleting the settings file, then try starting the game, and instead of ramping everything to max, try the "reset" button, for me, sometimes, the gamma bugs out so everything is dark and red. This button (and then adjusting the resolution) fixes it for me!
