You can start the game with this relic enabled by checking the corresponding checkbox.
I think "opening" is a bit ambiguous, maybe better to say it's on the first tile.
Might be my poor concentration, but I skipped the "a" and kept thinking it's a relic that should save me from opening a mine once.
