I have to ask, there hasn't been a devlog in over 2 months. Is the game abandoned? Because I personally loved it and just really don't want to see this game vanish into nothing.

No, this is just normal for this dev. I played this way back when it first came out and updates have always been slow. I don't know how many people are working on it but it's kind of a thing for NSFW devs to drag dev time to make more money (my opinion) so I would just recommend to play the update then forget about the game for a while.
Well it hasnt been normal from this dev to be this long without saying anything, i have heard from a semi reliable source that the dev is working on a much bigger update than normal, mostly to set the stage for the future story progression as the story is quickly reaching a point where progress cant be held back any longer than it already has
