Quick question, If I subscribe to Patreon for just a month, would the code work on future Updates? I can't commit to a monthly payment rn, would love to just buy the game when it comes out.

You wont be able to unlock versions that were released after you stopped being a Patreon, but you will always be able to unlock all the prior versions. You can download your version in the archives here. You can also wait for the full game to be released on Steam and here, but it will be a while still.
