Well Cloudy isn't that much of a Talker too sooo Step 1 Jude and Cloudy would get along well might even have their own language via stares , but For Fio he'd sweat bullets it's not that he is shy or anything, but he is too good at reading face expressions and Being Around Fio would get him pretty confused on what to do next 

Flora would keep showing cool Stuff To Jude to Break the Ice Between them Because she is just chill like that As for  Fiora she will have that Spider-Man Pointing At eachother moment because their Names are One letter away from eachother, But she'd be fond of her because of her Passion for her friends and In Flora's book there is nothing cooler than A True Friend 

Leaf (My dear Aurelia) would be Wary of Jude at first Since she gets Frightened easily but eventually she'd warm up to him and I say they'd Make a pretty solid Duo by Hiding behind people together

Fio on the Other Hand would Get Aurelia to the Verge of Tears, someone looking at her that coldly would get her pretty devastated and Scared but if they Got Closer I can See her Spending most her time Glued to Fiora 

Luciel, whew that Boy despite how sweet he is when People aren't around Wouldn't get along with Neither Jude nor Fio, For Jude he'd think he doesn't wanna talk to him or is  purposely Ignoring him As for Fio you can guess what he'd take offence to.

kojo and jude would probably be good friends !! in step 1 kojo might be a little grumpy cuz he hates having to move (AGAIN) but he’s mostly a sweetheart who’d let jude warm up to him in his own way ❤️ I’d like to think kojo would speak up for jude and yap a lot to him.

in step 2 kojo goes through a massive emo phase and his mental state really sucks 🥀🥀 but i think his friendship with jude wouldn’t take massive damage 🙏 kojo gets seen as a stoic, cold, angry and apathetic person but is not like that at all. just like how jude’s kindness gets seen as ‘fake’ and his narrative is twisted into a ‘people pleaser’ rather than an introvert trying to be more extroverted. kojo, too, has problems with the concept of time and such. While he also thinks days go by awfully fast, he also thinks everything goes on way too slow. Perhaps they’d bond over that 💗

in step 3 they’d be close friends i’d say. Kojo’s doing better than at 14 and even though he went through the worst times of his life in between steps. He’s still him. I can see Jude and Kojo hanging out or getting coffee or whatever 🤔🤔 I think Kojo’d see Jude as a brother, and probably have that ‘chill older brother’ vibe with him.

NOW FIO 🙏😼

Kojo and Fio would probably start off a little awkward. mainly because while, like i said, kojo’s an understanding kid, he also is a little introverted 😓😓 but nearing step 2 I think they’d be friends!

In step 2 I think Kojo would consider Fiore as one of his closest friends. Since both she and Kojo are seen as cold people and have a lovely side to them despite what others say, I can see them being close 🤗

In step 3 they’d be close friends still 😼😼 I can see Kojo and Fio do stuff like go to the movies or go shopping. Maybe Kojo’d yap to her about flowers and stuff, maybe roman mythology idc 🤷🏽‍♂️ depends on what the girl likes 💪💪

Fio🪻

Runie wouldnt try to be close to her in Step 1. She finds her super pretty though! But I feel like he’d misunderstand her aloofness and shyness for disgust for his strength and he’d respect her wishes by staying away.

Step 2 they would try to stay even MORE away from her. He still feels ashamed and repulsed by his strength so he doesnt even want to get close lest they scare her away or worse, hurt her accidentally. So he only looks at her from afar, really wanting to be her friend but at the same time content with the distance he put.

in Step 3 Runie would finally accept his strength for what it is and that its a part of him that will never really change. I’d like to think that because of it, him and Fio start getting close because they share a class together and got partnered up and THATS how Runie realises “Oh.. you’re actually goofy?! What the heck?!” He doesnt hide his strength from her when he sees that she isnt afraid (if i get your characterization wrong PLEASE say so TwT) and basically becomes her annoying little brother figure LOL. 

Omake + He leaves her baked sweets on her desk with a crocheted flower tied around it whenever she has a different class or when theyre about to leave school.

Jude ⭐️

Runie in Step 1 would take one look at Jude and think “..Will he get a heartattack if I approach him suddenly?” And immediately back track to where he was because one, he doesnt want to intimidate the kid, lord knows how many times that happened. And Two, it seems like he wants to be left alone so he didnt wanna crowd around him.

(Although I think that earned him like a general Runie shield, whenever a ball or something almost hits Jude, Runie is immediately there saving him. They flash the boy a quick smile before leaving.)

Step 2 would be Runie kind of,, feeling a bit disappointed and worried for Jude. Because he knows how that feels when he experienced it at his old school. The need to change yourself to fit in, forcing yourself to become someone youre not and sometimes forgetting who you were. He doesnt get close to him because of that because it reminded him of himself. He doesnt dislike Jude! He’s still a bit protective over him and Fio but he doesnt want to be friends with someone who doesnt seem genuine enough to like him.

Step 3 would of course be the breakthrough, i would imagine Jude being the first one to approach Runie and thank them for protecting him for a while. And Runie would let him get close because he seems genuine now! And Runie likes it when people dont force themselves to like him or other people too. They become a really unnatural duo, with how their personalities dont match each others at all, but it doesnt mean they arent compatible as friends. I think theyd be really chill with eachother, like how capybaras look chilling? Thats them i believe HAHAHA

STEP 1 MAEVE AND JUDE:

these ppl will NOT interact with each other. I mean I think Maeve would have a platonic crush on him (actually she does w everybody) but they’d be to shy to approach each other, I think they have the potential to be besties if someone else forces them to hang out like Qiu or smth, or they’re in a situation where they’re forced to interact. If they do interact Maeve would make things for Jude like poems or drawing or origami js whatever to show

STEP 2: I mean I think they’ll be good friends in step 2, I don’t think Maeve will make him have  to act fake ya know? If they met earlier I think they have bestie potential where they can be themselves since Maeve also feels like they have to fake who they are to get people to like them, with accents and stuff. And she won’t have to fake her accent around him bc she fella as if he won’t judge her(This will happen in my universe u can’t stop me bc I think they’re friendship will be great but ik most likely will not happen 🥲) 

STEP 3: I think if they are friends they’ll start hanging out less but they’ll keep in touch bc Maeve is looking for a manager and singing opportunities (hate the manager he’s a toxic red flag) but she slowly starts getting more recluse 

STEP ONE HARUKI AND JUDE:

Jude gets adopted, whether he knows it or not his new father is Haruki Fujimoto. He’s going to introduce Jude to ppl if they more comfortable with it, and just be a fun guy to be around. He’ll be hyping Jude up aswell, personal hype man, ur welcome 😉

STEP 2: Will encourage Jude NOT to be a people pleaser and be himself, tries to explain that if ppl don’t like him for who he is than they’re aren’t worth it. Will encourage Jude to do dumb things bc why not.

STEP 3: Still will encourage Jude to do sumb things and pranks bc why not. ALSO will be his Cupid if he finds anyone of interest *wink wink* adapts to however Jude whenever he’s being energetic or silent bc but still will be ya know, him, his naturally dramatic self lol

MAEVE AND FIOR STEP 1:

Maeve would think Fío is so pretty and desperately wants to befriend them. If they do become friends Maeve will SHOWER her with gifts whenever Fío protects her from something, they’ll  be shy ab it but she’s be very happy to give it to her and likes her reaction.

STEP 2: if they’re friends I think their relationship will be sweet and nice. But if they more not friends Maeve will be worried that Fio hates her bc she did smth and would try to apologies for smth she doesn’t know she did by leaving anonymous gifts on her desk or wtv (she always forgets the say who they’re from) Maeve can be silly with her trust me they got a goofy side if you’re close enough to her.

STEP 3: Again distances the self from their relationship bc evil toxic manager told them to >:( but I feel like they’ll still be close if they are friends, just chill dudes you know who can be themselves and silly w each other

STEP 1 HARUKI AND FIO:

Might not interact much with dip, he’ll be like ‘u should be GRATEFUL I’m giving u attention but fine be like that’ and hair flip and be on his merry way 😭 but when they do become friends they’ll be besties like they’ll collectively hold a singular braincell and he’l lie like ‘hmm she’s pretty chill I’ll allow her to bask in my presence’ and if they are friends he’ll constantly give her hair tips on how to get it ‘as luxurious as his’

STEP 2: if they’re friends he’ll feel like a special little prince bc why not, they’ll do dumb stuff together and will not have seconds thoughts ab it, he’s less narcissistic now but still knows his worth so now he doe sir more like a joke 

STEP 3: I think pretty much the same as Step 2, besties til the end, will prob invite her on his streaming channel and convince her to play horror games or dti (he slays it dti) I think they’ll have playful banter aswell js a constant back and forth bc I love relationships like that

Bacon would be a nuisance to Jude until in step 1 for sure. He is a bubbly ray of sunshine and can easily overwhelm people. Fio and him would likely be friends though and would probably see him as a little brother due to her protective nature.

If Kathryne and Jude were forced into an interaction, they'd be very awkward the whole time but would likely realize they aren't so different and would likely hide away from crowds together in a corner somewhere. Fio and KitKat have the same indifference to strangers so they'd probably stare at eachother for half an hour before either of them say something. Although KitKat will likely not be the first to speak as she knows that she doesn't speak the same language.

DUDE I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT HOW MUCH HIRO AND JUDE WOULD GET ALONG JUST YESTERDAY AND NOE I CAN FINALLY WRITE IT OUT!!

For Hiro and Jude:

(Honestly, I don't think they will ever initiate a convo with eacb other so i think that they would just be friends through mutual friends like Tammy and Qiu) When they were kids, they’d probably spend a lot of time together in comfortable silence. Hiro doesn’t really show his emotions, and Jude’s too shy to talk much, so they’d just like.. exist near each other, and that would be enough. Jude might peek at Hiro sometimes, wanting to talk but not knowing how, and Hiro would just quietly accept his company, no pressure. They’d probably bond over just hanging out with Qiu and Tammy, letting them do most of the talking while they just listened

In step 2.. things could get a little complicated. Jude is trying to be more social, even if it’s forced, while Hiro is shutting himself away behind his mask. There might be a bit of distance between them, not out of conflict, but because they’re both dealing with their struggles in opposite ways, one trying to blend in more, while the other is trying to disappear. But I think Jude, being naturally kind, would still check in on Hiro, and Hiro, even if he doesn’t say much, would appreciate it deeply

By step 3, their friendship would settle into something really solid and comforting. Jude has accepted his quieter nature, and Hiro has had years to adjust to life behind the mask. They wouldn’t need to fill the silence with meaningless chatter; just being in each other’s presence would be enough. Jude’s expressions would be enough for Hiro to understand his mood, and Hiro doing his good 'ol gestures—like staying close or subtly adjusting his body language—would be how he shows he cares. They’d be the type of friends who could sit in comfortable silence for hours, understanding each other without needing to say much

If I mischaracterize Jude and Fio, I'm really sorry, I will fix it, just let me know. I'm not sure how they would interact with Xipil and Milo, so it's how Xipil and Milo would interact with them. It's also pretty lengthy, so I'm sorry.

Fio + Jude

For Step one, Xipil is terrified to talk to Fio and Jude. But then again, she's like this with everyone. Very nervously, she will compliment Fio and then overthink and believe she upset Fio. Xipil always has some geodes on hand, and will offer it to both of them. This is how she asks to be someone's friend, and she will not be upset if you don't take it. If you do, she will visibly brighten up and smile. If Fio becomes her friend, Xipil will always bring her any gem she wants. For Milo, he might be offended Step one. But he'll respect her space and give a friendly wave. He will leave her alone and go off to do his own thing. He'll offer her a shell and/or a shark tooth. He'll ask if he can be her friend, then will do his best to keep quiet. Xipil will always offer her jacket since she can stand the cold, so if they need another layer, she doesn't, mind.

For Step Two, Xipil will be polite and try to not mistake any interactions. She'll try to be friendly, but will back off if Fio tells her to. If they're friends, Xipil won't question why Fio is kinder to her since she is the same way.  Xipil completely understands Jude, so she won't question it. Both Xipil and Milo will offer advice for Jude. But Xipil will always have back up stuff ready in case Fio or Jude ever need another pencil or pen. Xipil always packs extra snacks too (she does this because this is how she shows she cares). She is also a great listener and will not interrupt them. If they're friends, Milo will note their favorite colors and preferences, so that when he makes bracelets, he knows how to do it right. If they don't want any, he'll ask if she has any design ideas. 

In Step Three, Xipil is more confident and outgoing. She'll be polite and kind to Fio, and wouldn't judge her (she does not pay attention). She'll talk to her, but it'll be more off a general kindness. But if they are friends, Xipil will makes tons of jokes. For Jude, she'd probably spend some quiet time and draw a bit. If Fio or Jude ever ask, Xipil will make one for them. Xipil will also offer to drive Fio and Jude to any location (if they want to). Xipil will wait, and will most likely be shopping while she waits. She is also the friend (for both Jude and Fio) who will ask for a wrong order to be made correct (only if they want her to). Milo, if they're friends, he will pay for any food or drinks. He doesn't want his friends to worry about being unable to afford it, so it's always free with him. He'll goof off with them, and he still continues to make jewelry. He will give her some if she ever asks. She'll often offer knowledge about rocks and geology to them, and Milo offers marine knowledge.

Sylvan with Jude:

In step 1, Jude is too shy to approach Sylvan at first, and Sylvan (being so absorbed in her own world) might not notice him much. However, if they were introduced through Qiu or Tamarack, Sylvan might find his quiet but curious nature refreshing, and Jude might enjoy watching her sketch designs in silence

In step 2, this is when their friendship could start deepening. Jude, in his "awkward people pleaser" phase, might admire Sylvan's confidence in her dream, while Sylvan could notice that Jude isn't as naturally extroverted as he tries to appear. She might gently tease him about it but also give him space to be himself. They could have study sessions where Sylvan doodles in the margins while Jude actually tries to help her understand the material. (with mixed results) also a possible funny moment would be Sylvan occasionally dressing Jude in stylish outfits as a joke, which he awkwardly but politely tolerates 🤭

In step 3, since by now, Jude has settled into his natural quietness, and Sylvan has likely faced more challenges in pursuing her dream. Their friendship at this stage is one of quiet support—Jude listens when Sylvan vents about school or design struggles, and Sylvan notices when Jude is lost in thought and asks what’s on his mind. They probably spend time together in peaceful silence, Sylvan sketching while Jude just enjoys her company

Sylvan with Fio:

In step 1, sylvan’s down-to-earth personality and focused drive for her fashion design dream would provide a solid support system for Fio. Despite Fio’s guarded and hot-and-cold attitude, Sylvan’s patience and understanding would make her a reliable friend. She would respect Fio’s need for space and would be one of the few who isn’t put off by her distant behavior, offering quiet support in times of need

In step 2, As both grow older, their friendship would mature into something that feels stable and comforting. Fio’s “hot and cold” attitude would remain, but Sylvan would come to understand this better, knowing that Fio’s coldness is just her way of protecting herself.
