Hey, that's pretty neat! Only note would be that the artstyle doesn't match up completely (the player doesn't quite fit with the tiles, tiles don't quite fit the backdrops, etc.), but that aside it's pretty cool.

Could I ask what software you used to make the music? I'm really into making retro, NES-Esque games, and the music here was spot-on for something like that.

Thanks for the compliments on the music. I made the music with a VST called Sora Boy by shadowsora. It's free and easy to use:

Note that this is a VST plugin, not a standalone software. I don't know how familiar you are with Digital Audio Workstations, but you'll need one of those.
