Oh, i purchased the $45 tier a little over a week ago. I was just saying that if I had known about this project back when it first started i would've saved more for it.
Gdnarned it, hey? That's awesome that you're part of the beta team now, but I must concur that as someone who discovered the game in around November, it gave me more time to both save money and convince myself to spend it on this game (^_^;). Probably too much, to be honest, but I figured that I have a job and don't really spend my money on much besides necessities, so supporting an indie game developer to create another fabulous game seemed a decent way to spend it ;p
(Seriously--I spent a LOT. Like, it started with the $45.00 beta access [which is really like $60.00 to me since I'm Canadian]...but then a month later, I thought that the Ranch Employee pledge sounded like a really cool way to be a part of the game, and it had the lowest price of that reward tier, so, hey! Why not? But then...once I was communicating with the developer around a month after that about my character design, I found that I loved the process SO MUCH that I wondered how much MORE exciting it would be to design a main NPC!........so yeah, that love hotel couple is mine (^_^;). I probably spent around a total $2,015 Canadian dollars in pledges for this game...all I can say is the process has been super fun, and I'm banking on Meyaoi's good track record on seeing this game thru, cuz it's a legit investment for me now, lol)

I found Seiyuu Danshi by accident about a year ago and decided to try it since I liked the art work and how versatile the gameplay was (which is pretty nonexistent for VNs). I fell in love with the characters almost immediately, and kind of the same thing, I was like "Why have i not seen this anywhere before!?"
And then i saw it wasn't free and was like "oh...that's why".
And then i found Banana Ranch only at the end of last month and was like "Mother ######!"
Then i saw the cat cafe tier and was like "Why did i have to happen to just buy a new car!?!?"
I swear the Yaoi God has it out for me!
Yeah, I'm pretty excited! XD. And ah man, bad timing with the car! I'm living that city bus life, which is a pain but definitely is saving me money for now. And that cat cafe tier was pretty tempting--I almost went for that one, but decided that since it was the actual *designing* part that got me excited, I'd get more bang for my buck with the hotel couple (^_^;).
And wow, my experience of finding Seiyuu Danshi is almost the same as yours, except I pretty much found it the month it officially released. So, I was more like, "Why I no find you in development stage?!"
