Also, I loathe Hoyo because they take cultures and religious figures from African and Black, Brown, and just people who are non-white or asian, yet fail to make dark-skinned or even TANNED characters. And the ones the fandom 'claims' to be dark are the darkest shade of grey-beige π I stopped playing after sumeru was released and now with Natlan appearantly taking Nigerian and South American Gods and turning them into incel gooner bait and some ugly emo gacha ocs ... Yikes.
As a black man I really do not fw that yk? They also have other issues that I wont start abt bcs I'd probably never stop (there's a fuckton wrong with that company). But Hoyo's inability to propperly represent West African, North African, and just make characters with melanin, yet somehow manage to atleast decently portray West-European and Asian (I understand they are an Asian company so obv that's probably gonna be represendted well) characters is ... Questionable.
But yeah, gacha games to me are... meh. Really depends on if I have to spend five hours for one gamble or if it's pretty easy.
