Oh! That's a very interesting error... say, what happens if you completely delete the file "STMCurveGenerator.cs"? It should be in the "Utilities" folder. It's just a helper script that generates some copy-pasteable animation curves, but because of that error I'm wondering if it's just something with that file.

After if I removed STMCurveGenrator, the error message didn't appeared but SMT text was not visible yet. 

When I tested "TimingTest" object that you made, the sounds worked well but text isn't shown also. 

I guess it might be shader or material problem.
