I grew up in the DOS/BBS era, doing my first programs in 1989. So textmode is deeply rooted in my mind when it comes to UI. I'm currently playing CoffeeMUD, where MUDs are basically the grandfathers of MMORPGs... multiplayers, persistent world, ability to craft and change the environment... just that everything is in text. :)
I've been playing, and still playing Coffeemud for 3 years now.
