I played the browser version in firefox. I retried and you're right the lock dice worked on reroll, not on chance. My bad.
The reason for my suggestion is because it reminds of a mobile game 'Dice Royale' by GX Studio which I think was also inspired from Balatro. You might wanna check it out.
