Wow wow wow, my mind is blown! This book is deliciously dark and good, and I just could not put it down! The gradual evolution of Valerian and Elio's relationship was the crown jewel of this story, it shone in the backdrop of the haunted house (I love haunted house stories so that earned it instant bonus points in my mind) and I absolutely loved the ending and The God of Bruised Knuckles. I'd been dying for at least one tiny Valerian POV for all of Blood And Flowers so getting a whole bonus short story from his POV was a real treat. I love basically everything about this book and I would love to learn more about the world it takes place in!
