why couldnt the dev actually list the changelogs without spoilering stuff
He probably forgot exactly what he added. Hard to remember what was added, fixed, or changed across 7 test releases if you aren't keeping track.
Thats a lazy excuse. Every single other video game has patch notes. Just jot down what was finished in the notes app or something as you do it.
He likely just fully forgot to do so. This has happened before with 0.8.2, where he was keeping track of what he was changing for a bit until he forgot to update it further.
