Thanks for the review! About some mechanics, progression is indeed slow. I didn’t have time to finish it. Regarding the gunner, if I continue developing this game, I’ll add piercing damage to bullets as an upgrade, because sometimes, when you’re overwhelmed by a huge amount of enemies, you just can’t respond.
The Spiker is really slow. I made it this way because it’s overpowered, and when you reach, for example, level 3-4, you get up to 3-4 spikes with fast rotation speed. Maybe I should create “stamina” for the diagonal bug that will restrict the player from using it all the time.
The Spearman just needs to be polished well. It’s the least used class in the game—very risky but with high damage. I was thinking about making it pierce through a bunch of enemies, but I left it as it is.
About the music and sounds, I completely agree. The game lacks those elements.
And just a fun fact, the game has only two sprites :)
