Hi! I'm teaching parodies of Shakespeare to my students and assigned Armando the Bardo (and they are having great fun playing the game). But we are stuck in this scene: "La Octavia’s hiding in an alley. She can see the beach house a short walk away.

Close by, out on a rocking chair by his porch, don Thaddeus overlooks the morning scene." Any tip you could give us?

Haha I'm so incredibly flattered and I want to know more! I wrote this one many a year ago, but I thiiiink La Octavia has to first go deeper into the alley to grab a pair of slippers, and then run on the beach BUT you have to click that link when Thaddeus is not looking at the alley or the beach. So it's a timed puzzle haha

For context, I am a Brazilian professor teaching a university course on Drama in English. The syllabus includes both traditional drama, such as Hamlet and Macbeth, and contemporary experimentation with digital media based on these classic texts. I really like Armando the Bardo and it perfectly fits that syllabus. The person who introduced me to Armando the Bardo is also a Brazilian researcher: a PhD candidate who is studying Shakespeare-inspired videogames, including Armando the Bardo.

Wow that all sounds fantastic! And very big-brained for me: I've yet to read a play by Shakespeare unfortunately (this game is based on very superficial research haha as I'm sure it shows).

I'm so glad this little game found some audience. Let me know if you need anything else.

I checked! She has to go deeper into the alley, behind the houses, and check the wet clothes to get the slippers. Then back to the alley entrance, you have to click on the sand while Thaddeus is looking at the sky.

That is ingenious!
