Hey, bit of a question- I know that uprc has moved on from this project, and understandably so after the many years of support, so I figured see if the community could help troubleshoot an issue I've been having. The game doesn't display combat graphics at all for me- no "attack missed" or "no effect" popups, and no status ailments like the speech bubble next to a character afflicted with Mute. There are numbers, so I'm guessing it's an asset problem? Also, units sometimes become completely unresponsive, and Remedies or letting the unit die and revive do nothing. They just sit there with full ATB bars, totally inactive. Does anyone have a fix for either of these issues? I've tried both the version available on itch.io, as well as all three versions available on the Internet Archive, but no luck, so I'm guessing this is must just be 2k3 not playing nice with modern hardware?

Regardless, and directed to uprc- loving the game. 48 hours in and mopping up some superbosses before advancing into the final dungeon. I'd had the game on the backlog for ages, but it's easily one of my favorites from that era of fangames, alongside Hero's Realm and Alter AILA. The XP-2k3 era of "kitchen sink of what we love" design was something special.

Sorry for the late reply, but what are you playing the game on? Shouldn’t have any issues if you’re on PC, and if you are, then I can’t explain the graphical issues. If you’re playing on something that emulates RPG Maker, or runs it on mobile, I wouldn’t have any idea since I’m not familiar with any of those pieces of software. Glad you’ve been enjoying the game despite the peculiar issues!

Hey whats up? If your using mobile you might wanna try EASYRPG. It works well. After downloading it just make sure to put the game unzipped folder in to the games directory of the easyrpg folder youll also wanna create. Hope this helps.
