It is just missing some polish and some balancing. Very nice game you created there!
Glad you liked the endless possibilities! You are right. The core systems unfortunately took quite a lot of work so that polish and balancing fell of the time frame. But since the core is rather ready, we are able to expand and polish really nicely.
