Thank you for your comment, what do you mean by "fucked over", could you please clarify ?

well I'm a bit late, but others clarified on my behalf, as it seems.

But your model doesn't reward smaller supporters. Sooner or later, the game will get scenes that somebody paid you to do, that the smaller donors don't want to support. And it's a sad fact that the people searching for niche fetish stuff often have the deepest pockets. They need to otherwise, nobody would cater to their depravity.

NTR guys, for example, they get a kick out of it to drop 1000$ on a game, so the dev adds a scene with, for example, the mother character. Dev gets the money and implements the scene as an alternative path, the Harem crowd drops the game like it's made of glowing hot iron, and the NTR dude won't keep supporting. He got the scene he wanted.

But people who supported you for a long time with smaller amounts will feel betrayed.  Granted, I don't now the patreon rewards of every game, but I have never seen a game that left fetishes up for the highest bidder to do well or even get finished.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes there are people who support with smaller amounts, but everybody who helps is appreciated greatly. All tiers of my supporters have voting power on polls by the way so everybody can vote on any future polls. In fact "small" supporters are the most excited and interested in the game and they communicate with me the most. I seriously doubt anybody will drop $1000 just to try and ruin a game but then again I am a new developer and new to most of this. Also I have mentioned that I will only consider ideas that I like and that fit the story and themes of the game. Supporters of mine will not be betrayed as you mentioned, that much I can promise.

you might not believe that, but the bigger your game gets, the higher the chance of seeing that happening. I have seen it enough times that I stopped counting how often it has happened. Happened even to a game i supported for years, that's why i stopped doing that too.
