NTR just means stolen from you, there doesnt need to be a monogamous or even any sexual relationship for it to be NTR or 2/3th of all NTR would stop being NTR, Mothers are getting stolen, Childhood friends getiing stolen, because MC is too dense to see that she loves him etc etc. Not a single one of those scenarios needs a sexual relationship just that the Protag knows the girl.
MC can even have sex with Chika before he knows shes a whore and even if they have sex, she still sleeps with her customer later and gets found out by MC by pure chance.
you might not believe that, but the bigger your game gets, the higher the chance of seeing that happening. I have seen it enough times that I stopped counting how often it has happened. Happened even to a game i supported for years, that's why i stopped doing that too.

But your model doesn't reward smaller supporters. Sooner or later, the game will get scenes that somebody paid you to do, that the smaller donors don't want to support. And it's a sad fact that the people searching for niche fetish stuff often have the deepest pockets. They need to otherwise, nobody would cater to their depravity.
NTR guys, for example, they get a kick out of it to drop 1000$ on a game, so the dev adds a scene with, for example, the mother character. Dev gets the money and implements the scene as an alternative path, the Harem crowd drops the game like it's made of glowing hot iron, and the NTR dude won't keep supporting. He got the scene he wanted.
But people who supported you for a long time with smaller amounts will feel betrayed. Granted, I don't now the patreon rewards of every game, but I have never seen a game that left fetishes up for the highest bidder to do well or even get finished.
thats nothing you should ever do, all that will do is spell disaster, if you need polls make polls for hairstyles or cloth or if they get a beach episode or a trip into the mountains. But never poll for fetishes, thats the shit that will get your game derailed.

If thats not possible ill just drop the idea for the sandbox mode entirely, however that remains to be seen until i complete the writing and mapping of the next arc of the story(which is one of the parts I've been excited about writing for this story)
That's fair its your game after all but to be honest other than a coding exercise most Sandboxes don't offer much that couldn't be done with a simple menu to the players, The story and pictures are far more important. The longer you keep the sandbox going the more technological debt you are accumulating, tho. Meaning the longer you wait the worse gets the work you need to do for a switch to VN.

Im obviously biased because i hate sandbox, but like i say it just prolongs the game unnecessarily, its a shit ton of work to program and to make fool proof so it doesn't break the game or the story continuity. The vast amount of harem players hate missable stuff and decisions between girls in the same time slot that's why we play harem games, because we want them all we dont want to decide between them.
If the branching happens in the story segments anyway cut the sandbox out. all it does is that it fragments the story in pieces so it loses overall cohesion and flow. Players don't know if the saw everything and will click around for minutes searching for stuff that isnt there wich only leads to frustration. Or you have a questlog/guide menu, then the game loop is like this ->play story event -> click open questlock -> look up next place to be -> click around till you get there -> play story event ->... repeat

I find the Story interesting and want to know more. you did go overboard with the text effects. Im a fast reader and this stuff distracts me from the story massively. When you make text gradually appear like the Speech from the Headmaster it renders the Text from the beginning every time you click so i reread text trice because i thought it would be something new.
To be honest the moment you talked about Sandbox mechanics i nearly deleted the game. Sandbox only breaks the flow and brings nothing to the game. I really hope you make a VN mode it would be a shame to drop this game.
also your free roam nightmare is bugged when you first explore the ground floor before you enter the room you can go back and if you go forward again the same event gets triggered you can repeat this indefinitely.
Edit: also major gripe that you cant rename the main Character that's something the overwhelming majority of AVN players feel strongly about
Harem players don't like that in general. That's one reason they play harem games to beginn with. Also Replaying porngames for the tiny variations? I could use that time for another playthrough of Baldurs Gate 3. Or play a complete new game for that matter.
Focus on one great story or you will get stuck in the weeds and the players wont thank you for it when the progress of updates crawls to an halt because you got lost in your branching narrative. Variable errors creep up and people see things they didn't want to. Or they need to wait a year for the next interaction with their favourite girl.

i replayed the 1.2 version and Aria is still a disgusting person, her relationship with the MC is super uber toxic, she beats him, uses magic against him, denigrates him in casual conversations in front of others, exploits him emotional and financial, isolates him from other friends, and the worst of all MC is acting like a love sick puppy that still limps back to their owner after the owner kicked the shit out of it.
Bella gets somewhat redeemed without the cut scene.
But Aria is still trash if i had a friend like the MC i would force him to exit this relationship because to be honest it's just abuse against him. her sex scene is forced femdom bullshit and she does it purely as a power play, and MC says he would be fine with being her toy WTF boy grow a fucking pair and kick her out of your life you pathetic sack.
If a man would act (like Aria) that towards a women, he would sit behind bars if her family or bystander didn't get him first.
