Hi !

I'll give some guidelines for the art style at the start of the jam to keep the scene somewhat coherent. There's not going to be any hard rule about style however (except for the color palette that is). I want to let people explore different styles. And yes, I fully expect the scene to be a bit chaotic as a result.

About the themes. They're meant to be vague (though I do get how they are arguably too vague). People will go off in different directions. But I still think that the resulting scene will be interesting.

Here would be my answers to your questions based on my own interpretation of those themes (any other interpretation is as valid as mine ofc):

  • Cyber Easter can absolutly be easter in a cyberpunk world. I've also though about it as being a digital easter or a web easter. Elements from all theses ideas (and maybe more) will probably appear in the final scene.
  • 17 Gramophone alley is a fictional address. A gramophone or phonograph is a device that was used to playback sounds from a disk record (see Wikipedia). The question now is: what's in this alley ?
  • <<"the"? dreamland?>> It's not a well defined place. It's a world where dreams are. Whatever that means to you and to other artists.
  • <<Luxurious Cavern? Like fancy modern style bat cave? or crystal caves?>> Why not both ? If people draw elements from both ideas, they'll be combined into the one scene.
