You'd be the first to have an issue like that. Gonna need more details. What the crash is saying, where it happens, your hardware inside your PC.
Sorry I had a long week. I was playing for about 3 minutes (tonight when I tried to reproduce the crash, took a bit to load in. I was taking pictures of one sleeping on a rock near the start.
hopefully this is the info you are looking for. I used the patch from when I posted the issue, I have yet to try to new one. that may fix things. I'll comment on the most recent post with details if need be.
note, if it happens again I can record a video of my screen and try to upload that
